These programs, spanning 30 National Agricultural Research Institutes (NARIs) and 27 Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institutes (ZARDIs), bring together scientists from various disciplines, supported by skilled technicians.

To ensure the success of these multifaceted programs, NARO requires significant investment in training to acquire specialized skills.

Key Achievements

NARO has made substantial contributions to food security and economic growth by developing over 1,124 technologies, innovations, and management practices. These advancements support the agricultural, nutritional, and industrial sectors.

To further accelerate progress and align with the National Development Plan IV’s goal of tenfold economic growth, NARO is committed to continuously upskilling its staff.
